Two of the disastrous 1970s housing project known as the Crescents occupied this land (with two more behind us). As they were abandoned by the local authorities a community of artists, musicians, anarchists was established. The community turned flats into cafes, studios and cinemas.
Odd-Egil “Oddzthrash” Auran Thank you for a interesting read. I’ve lived in some questionable places myself, but nothing like this. I hope it’s lesson learned architecture wise. Although it briefly had its cultural impact, I think the lives it had cost, literally and healthily was too much.
